A unique photo taken by Banksy depicting a stencil he painted on the wall in his own kitchen. For the cover of "Out of Time" by BLUR.
In 2001, in Stokes Croft, bristol I (Tony Stiles) started a design company with Tristan Manco, we called ourselves Tijuana Design. Our studio was originally used by Banksy´s first "manager" - he´s the one responsible for the orange and blue (see photo) in the photograph from the early 2000´s
You can see our design credits on the Badmeaninggood and Blur´s Think Tank albums. At this time Tristan was writing his first book "stencil Grafitti" and various artists would drop by and sticker our fridge door. Among those Banksy.
During 2002 we worked with Banksy and WHOA records on the 4 Badmeaninggood albums and in 2003 we worked with Banksy and Steve Lazarides, Blur and Parlaphone records on the "Think Tank" album and subsequent singles.
Everything you see is authentic. Banksy did the art direction him self. The different versiosn of the covers has never before been published.
The photo is accompanied by a letter from Tony Stiles confirming the provenance and uniqueness.
