The very same image is re-used in a few collaborative works with Jean Michel Basquiat. Typical for Warhol in the late paintings he would find source material in magazines and newspapers. But he made the images hiw own. In this example by painting similar image found in a newspaper article. Making small diffferences. Then taking a photo of his own image and make it into an acetate used for making a silkscreen. And then duplicate the image om larger canvases. Here seen in collaboration paintings with Jean Michel Basquiat and Fremcesco Clemente.
